Zombies anger every one, loses it's way, almost backed out of Memorial election

Randy Shaw of BeyondChron writes a good piece about how 2009 should have been labor's year to make substantial progress, but sadly the house of labor is in need of substantial repair. We all had such high hopes in January (EFCA, healthcare reform, etc), most of which were dashed due to the greed and reckless spending spree of Dictator for Life Andy Stern. The good news: it looks like the Zombies' fate is sealed at Memorial. They intended to pull out of the election last week, but decided to reverse course and continue management's work of busting union NUHW. Oh Zombies, will you ever understand human nature?

  1. SEIU seems to be able to speak from both sides of their collective pie hole. On the one hand they say that they will fight for immigration reform, and on the other they emphatically threaten Spanish speaking workers with deportaion in Fresno. It makes you wonder just how committed SEIU really is regarding this issue.

Instead of working hard to pass EFCA, the dictator Stern and his stooges in Washington prefer to spend millions of dues dollars to prop-up their raiding tactics of other locals, specifically UNITE HERE and NUHW.

Instead of acting like bosses and working against workers, SEIU should be more concerned with filling all NLRB positions in Washington.
The NLRB can not funtion adequately wihout full employment. We are looking forward to the time when Hilda Solis is able to make decisions that help union members and their families.

    NUHW RISING! UNITE HERE RISING!

    SEIU DEMINISHING!
