Another former SEIU staffer points the spotlight on the Zombies, Memorial management

Fred Ross Jr, a former SEIU staffer, now employed by IBEW 1245 give a brief history of his work for SEIU and the series of events that led him to abandon the Titanic-esque disaster that is SEIU. It's interesting how in real life and the movie people on the top of the social structure are sure everything is going to be fine while the folks on the bottom see the situation for what it is, grab their family and head for the lifeboats. I am sure Captain Stern is too proud of his sinking ship to jump off, he's already sent 2 people to die on his behalf.

In his open letter he describes how SEIU decided well ahead of the trusteeship to stop organizing. From there is goes downhill pretty quickly.

  1. The open letter to Memorial workers from Fred Ross is inspiring as well as revealing. Healthcare workers at Memorial have fought too long and hard to let a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity pass them by. By voting for NUHW as the union of their choice, Memorial employees will demonstrate to the rest of California's home and healthcare workers that the once ethical and prestigious SEIU can be defeated.

SJHS and SEIU's unethical and anti-union campaign of trying to persuade Memorial workers to vote "no union" is despicable. What SJHS and SEIU don't seem to understand is that Memoriial workers know that Sal Rosselli and the rest of the old UHW will fight for better wages and benefits and that NUHW will never abandon them like SEIU did.

Memorial workers: stand up and vote your conscience. Join NUHW. Don't be intimidated by SJHS and SEIU's mud slinging, fear-mongering campaign. You can win this battle. Hand management and SEIU a stunning defeat.

    NUHW rising! UNITE HERE rising.

    SEIU deminishing!
