L.A. Times weighs in on Memorial election

It's been a while since I've seen anything from the L.A Times about what's going on "way up north" here in Sonoma county, but the knock-down, drag-out fight for unionization at Memorial is getting plenty of attention.
Funniest part of the article: "We think these workers would be much better off with a union that has resources, that has members, that has a track record" says Steve Trossman, SEIU media lackey. This man doesn't wear horse blinders he has a welding mask!

  1. Scab Trossman is correct when he says that SEIU has resources (extorted union dues) and a track record built on lies, deception, arrogance, intimidation--and is also well known as one of the most undemocratic unions in the country.

Memorial workers will not be fooled by SEIU's propaganda and bribary. SEIU is also well known for trying to buy members votes through false promises and food.

    Don't be fooled. Vote NUHW!

  2. UHW and SEIU has dwindling resources. Can't imagine how much they've spent fighting the will of the members. Remember -- no member in UHW has any say in the spending of their dues money. Trusteeship meant that Dave Regan could pay himself anything he wants (more than DOUBLE the salary of the elected president) and spend money in any way he sees fit -- including the money they are spending in Santa Rosa for the express purpose of keeping workers from forming a union. They know they can't win, so any dues dollar spent there is purely anti-union expenditures.
