Judge Frank Roesch provides temporary relief to IHSS workers

A sense of relief across was felt across the state today when Alameda County Superior Court Judge Frank Roesch temporarily banned the state from blocking felons from IHSS employment. The injunction hearing is coming up January 29. If a grandma wants to hire her felon grandson, that's between the two of them, and the State needs to keep it's hand off!

  1. Hats off to Judge Frank Roesch for his intervention regarding IHSS care.

UHW's web site is also congratulating the judge's decision. However, how can the Zombies express adulation in this matter and at the same time threaten so-called illegal immigrants with deportaion?

UHW thinks that they can fool workers by pretending to represent them. In actuality, UHW continues to meet secretly with employers all across the state in order to roll back the hard-won contracts under Sal Rosselli's and the old UHW leadership.

Isn't this the definition of a hypocrit?
